We're using JFusion for the connection between Joomla and vBulletin. Quick question, the "System - JFBCSystem" plugin that should be enabled, I don't have that. I have one called "System-JFBConnect Namespace" is that the same thing? Do I need to rename it and change the plugin file name? The install instruction are surprisingly vague.

The Namespace plugin was last used and included in version 2.5 (I think) released almost 2 years ago. Since then, we haven't installed it, and for a few versions after that release, we actively removed it during installation. So, you should uninstall that plugin altogether as it shouldn't be used.

The JFBCSystem plugin is installed automatically with any release of 3.0 and higher. If you don't have it, we'd recommend re-installing JFBConnect, which should upgrade/install that plugin. If not, you can install it manually by unzipping the JFBConnect file and installing it using the Joomla installer from the /admin/packages folder in the unzipped directories.

As for install instructions, we have a huge configuration guide, which should take you through the almost every common step. I think you're simply working from an old version or a incorrect upgrade from an old version, which is causing a lot of issues. We don't have a special guide for vBulletin integration as it's not a terribly common question, so we don't test that setup often or have a fool-proof guide for it yet.

Hope that helps,
Alex

I reinstalled JFBC. I set the order to 0 (System - JFBCSystem) for Admin and User. The System defaults to 0 (System - Zind Lib).

Are you still having issues? If so, what are they? From the post above, it sounds like you got everything re-installed properly.

Let us know if there is anything we can help with.

Thanks,
Alex

The Facebook Connect isn't setting off the Dual Login. This means that regardless of whether you hit "Facebook Connect" on the Joomla homepage or the VBulletin forum, it only logs in to Joomla.

Gotcha. Wasn't sure if that was still an issue. As I mentioned above, it's likely an ordering issue of the Authentication and/or User plugins. I suggested you check with JBridge on how they operate best with other authentication plugins other than Joomla's built-in ones. Did you check with them or find out anything regarding the ordering or best behavior in your situation? I don't have any great suggestions as to how to make them work.

It sounds like the JFBConnect side is working and that it's the JBridge side that needs some help. While we'll gladly do what we can, I think it may be in their court now.

Good luck,
Alex

It appears to be working now! Thanks for you help. I think there was an issue with the COOKIE SALT not being added to the configuration.
