Hey guys, I just bought the program. So far it seems like a great release for a very reasonable price.

My question is this. In the new release it's supposed to import likes and other fields into Joomla. However, I it has only been importing a few of them. Mainly I'd like to import the likes.

Any ideas?

EDIT:
I suddenly realized that the features list on the site was updated before the actual release... I have a flash program being integrated with JomSocial and I really need these fields so development doesn't stall, is there any way I can get a copy of the release to let them take a look under the hood?

Thanks,
David

David,
The 3.4 release is what's available, and the features are all posted for it. You should be able to easily import a user's Interests, like books, movies, and other things.

If you're looking for URLs that a user's Like'd in the past, that's simply not possible. Facebook doesn't let you see all of a user's Likes as, over years, that can be tons of them. Importing them all would be cumbersome.. and Facebook wants to keep that data. There are things we can access about what a pages, sites, and other items a user has Like'd using the Graph API, but we don't have any easy integration for that right now.

The fields that we do import are all available to be seen on the page below, and can be easily selected when you enable the JomSocial profile plugin that comes with JFBConnect.

If you were expecting something else, please let us know and we'll clear it up. As for where you saw pre-release information, let us know. We did pre-announce version 4.0, but all of the main features in that release are in 3.4 available now. The only thing we couldn't/didn't implement was an updated authentication mechanism that Facebook will require later this year. Without that, we decided to call it 3.4, but any 'promo' material you've seen from us should describe the features that are in 3.4.

Thanks,
Alex
