Thanks. I just tried the page and saw the error. A few suggestions of things to try (in order):
1) Not sure what SEF extension your using, but please try to have it 'skip' SEF URLs for JFBConnect. Most extensions have this option, and it may help you.
2) If you're using any JFBConnect profile plugins, try disabling them temporarily. If it starts working, let us know which one was causing the problem.

That's about it to start with. Hopefully, #1 will fix your issue, but if not, let us know. If the above doesn't do it, we may have to request a super admin account to get into the site to check things out.

Thanks,
Alex

Ok I played around with it and it seems to be the SEF404 I think I fixed it by purging. Now when I go to the home page I get your code rather than the facebook stuff...

Strange... can you go there to see?

If you have the System - Cache plugin enabled, move it to the last ordered (highest number) plugin so it fires last. Then, clear your cache and see if that helps. If you don't have it enabled, try re-arranging the JFBCSystem plugin to be ordered first (and then last) and see if that helps.

Usually, when the tags aren't being translated, it's when there's a conflict of some sort between the system plugins which is usually cleared up by changing the ordering.

Hope this helps, but if not, you know where to find us :)

Great to hear that worked.. If you don't mind letting us know, what specifically did it? Always good to get the feedback for future support.

I know this isn't what you were asking for, but in the upcoming 4.0, we'll be adding K2 support. It's not EasyBlog, and we're not trying to say it's better.. why that's relevant though is, similar to what we did with the profile plugins, was we initially had them tightly built-in to the component. Eventually, we split them out into their own plugins. We're planning (later this year) to do the same with the social auto-integration so that it's much simple for us (or others) to automatically add Like, Send, Comment (whatever) to different components. EasyBlog would likely be higher up on that list as it seems pretty popular, though I'll admin, I've never used it. We definitely appreciate the suggestions though!

Finally, if you like JFBConnect and/or our support, please consider leaving a rating and review on the Joomla Extension Directory. It's certainly not required, but very appreciated. The JED uses JFBConnect too, so creating an account is very fast!

Thanks, and good luck,

Ultimatetely what did it was to purge sh404 then put joomla cache last and your plugin first.

This fiexed bot problems....

check this out... www.submitcoblog.com
What I did is use both your login and theirs. They actually have an option in their module to turn off the login part of their module so its just a user menu. BUT NOOOO.. that doesnt work... so as I build this I will use both until they get back to me. I got it all to work though....

Glad to hear you got it going, and glad our solution helped. As for the login module, I'm not exactly sure what you're looking for. Our Login module lets you disable quite a bit, but may not be as customizeable as you want. If you need help or suggestions from us, just let us know specifically what your'e looking for and we'll do what we can to help.

Good luck,
Alex
