I get the following error on my page, and so i cant either add new comments either like-share articles.
There was an error liking the page. If you are the page owner, please try running your page through the linter on the Facebook devsite (developers.facebook.com/tools/lint/) and fixing any errors.

the domain is www.pineza.gr

What should i do?

What page specifically are you seeing this on? Using Chrome on a Mac, I was able to Like your home page, and post a comment to the page below:
www.pineza.gr/index.php?option=com_k2&vi...ktiko-vid&Itemid=200

I've never seen the database down error. It's possible that Facebook's social widgets were temporarily down, which can be a very localized thing. We didn't hear about it from any other users as well.

If you're continuing to have problems, just let us know, and we'll look into it further. If so, please include the steps to recreate the problem.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi, Actualy the problem was because i was trying to integrate the comments function inside the k2 articles.

Finaly i found a workout

Everything is ok now, only that i dont get notifications on new comments and new likes

Gotcha. In the upcoming 4.0 release, we have the automatic Like & Comment functionality for K2, so hopefully that will help you in that area as well if you don't love your current solution.

We've had one other report of user's who aren't getting their notification email. Not sure what's up.. Don't think it's widespread, but 2 reports in one day warrants more investigation. Please let us know if it all of a sudden starts, or if anything else changes we should know about.

We'll let you know if we find anything as well.

Thank you for your interest.

I managed to solve all the issues and it works smoothly now with comments suport as well.

Just wanted to report a problem you should know:

The comments and like functions doesnt work correctly if the urls contains greek characters.

I removed the greek characters and now everything is ok for me.

One non-relevant question...
Can i use the component on 2 sites, or it is restricted for 1 site per subscription?

Definitely appreciate the report about greek characters. We'll have to look into how to best fix this, and whether it's a Facebook issue or something in our component, but I've taken note of it.

As for usage rights, you're free to use JFBConnect on any of your sites. We don't restrict it to one per subscription. The only caveat is that if you do use it on a lot of sites, and have lots of support requests for all of them, we may ask that you purchase another subscription. In over a year, we've never asked this of anyone, but do like to say it, just in case. For your reference, our full subscription terms (which are very friendly, we think) can be found at the link below:
www.sourcecoast.com/extensions/subscription-faq

Finally, if you have a moment, please consider leaving a rating and review on the JED for JFBConnect and/or our support. It's certainly not required, but very appreciated:

Thanks, and we'll keep you posted on anything we find with the greek URLs or email notifications.. nothing yet.. :)

Thank you for your explainations. It was good to know my options.
Of course i dont plan on using it on multiple sites. I am interested on using it on just two projects.

Finaly... i added a rating and review on the JED for your component.

Thank you very much.

Thank you so much for the review! We really, really appreciate it.

Even if you don't plan to now, you're more than welcome to use JFBConnect on multiple sites. Again, we don't restrict it that way, and don't want you to feel we do. Please use it how you see fit.

Best of luck to you, and thanks again,
Alex
