Hi:

I am very interested in the JFBConnect Component but need it to work with Joomsuite People Touch Community component. The component includes an API and developers do cooperate to make their components get supported by other 3DP. They also offer a 15 days tryout license so testing could be done and templates file s are not encoded.

The CB release just came out, and we'll be working on any problems that may arise from that immediately. We're always up for investigating integration into other community components though, so we'll definitely keep track of the progress of People Touch. I've entered a task into our project manager (Project Fork) so we don't loose sight of this request.

No status yet. Haven't even gotten PeopleTouch yet to play with. One of our big concerns is that, I'm assuming, the component is encrypted as most JoomSuite tools are. While I'm not against encryption, for integration, we rely heavily on being able to (ya know) integrate with their stuff.

Over the last few weeks, about half of the time I try to go to their site (including now), it's also been down, which isn't a positive sign. Finally, the last time I was able to get in, PeopleTouch was in beta. We'll definitely look more into it (and sooner) if this thread blows up with requests, but as of now, we'll likely be focusing more on new features for CB and JomSocial.

I'm not a very good php programmer, but I'd like to know how does the integration take place for JFBConnect?

I mean is it possible to just pull some information from the database and go with that? I could possible code that. How did you code the JomSocial/CB integrations?

Count me in for petition! I'm about to move my upcoming project to joomsuite! It can work without FBconnect, although would be an awesome addition (more counting I already have the extension ;)), I bought it as first plans we're to use CB, but I need resources for my site and would be a waste not to integrate withJFBConnect ...

To integrate with Mighty Extensions (a.k.a joomsuite) you may need to integrate with the user extension rather than with people connect

Hello,
I absolutely agree witht this feature request. People Touch is part of one of the more flexible cck existing for joomla, and there are thousands of users already using it, it would be great to have your component integrated with it!

Now that 3.1 is released with the plugin based profile system, it makes it much easier to add integration with other systems. This is why we were able to add Agora and K2 to this release.

We'll be adding support for People Touch and a few others over the next few months. I can't give a timeline for individual profile plugins simply because we may run into unforseen issues, but rest assured, we realize it benefits our users, as well as us, to support integration with many 3rd party systems.
