Hi,

The url is: facecrooks.com/Safety-Center/Scam-Watch/...ook-Survey-Scam.html. When you go to our home page where the intro to the article is listed, the like count shows the total like count for "Facecrooks.com" not this url specifically.

Also, the image element is showing up twice below. I have an image setup in the configuration panel and did an override for the article. They are both being displayed. If you see anything else out of line with our og tag data please advise:

Thanks,
Tim

I'm not sure why the Like is for the home page. If you look at the URL for the Like button on the home page, it specifically is calling out the correct page. I'm seeing 11k likes for the top 2 articles, but don't see any likes' for the home page specifically. I can't tell if these top 2 articles are 'linked' somehow, but if you have more information on how to test, please let us know.

As for the double image tags, that's fine. Facebook allows multiple image tags per page, but will take the first as the 'default' for that page. In some cases, where a user is asked which image to use, any of the image tags will be shown as an options. We always set overrides as the first image, so that shouldn't be a problem for normal likes. If you're seeing issues, let us know!

Thanks,
Alex

Hey,

We got the JFBConnect tags installed in our K2 template. The like count is still not coming out right. I think it is pulling the likes for the domain and not the url of the specific k2 item.

facecrooks.com

do you have any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks,
Tim

It definitely is pulling the Like count for the home page. If you open the HTML of the page, and search for fb:like, you'll see the href parameter for each Like button is specified as your home page. In the code that you're adding the Like button, you'll want to specify the URL for the final destination article.

We're excited about the upcoming 4.0 release which will have the K2 integration similar to the Joomla Content integration for automtically adding like's, send's, and comments to K2 content... it will solve some of these issues.

Hope that helps,
Alex
