it was working before when i first installed the application, but i noticed today that it is no longer working and that people are not able to connect with their facebook account?? i keep getting an error:

API Error Code: 191
API Error Description: The specified URL is not owned by the application
Error Message: redirect_uri is not owned by the application.

i even created a new app on the facebook developer and it is still giving me the same error:
i have already updated the FB connect to the latest version so i have no idea whats happening

The problem is being caused by the Like button you're using on the page. It's re-including the Facebook Javascript library on your page, and confusing Facebook about your applications information.

You should either disable that module, or modify it to remove the following code:
<div id="fb-root"></div> 
		<script src="http://connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#appId=230152293666311&xfbml=1"></script>

I just came here to find out why I couldn't login or logout on my site. Turns out it was this issue as well.

On a related note, the issue only arose because I wanted to use JoomlaDigger's Sharable plugin, because it also has a tweet button and +1, amongst others. It would be good if you could provide more buttons or a the ability to add them or something.

Yeah, that's something we're looking into doing, as it's becoming a more common request. Don't have any timeline as to when something like that would be available, but we agree, it's a good thing for us to have.

Hello Alzander, how´re you?

I´m having troubles with the autentication, can you pease help us? The site is www.polyorganic.com.br and we recieve the error:

API Error Code: 191
API Error Description: The specified URL is not owned by the application
Error Message: Invalid redirect_uri: A URL informada não é permitida pela configuração do aplicativo.

I don´t think we changes anything related to JFBC, what can it be?

Daniel,
Generally, try to create a new thread for support unless your topic is definitely related to the others. In this case, the symptom may be similar, but I believe the problem is very different.

There seems to some weird redirecting going on on your site that I think is the problem. If I go to www.polyorganic.com.br/ (with the www.), and I look at the HTML on the page, all the links go to the non-www version. That's not normal for Joomla to do that. Additionally, when I login using Facebook from the www. version, I'm redirected to the non-www version (again, not normal).

I am seeing the error you mention, but only from the non-www URL for the site. To fix this, my guess would be to edit your Facebook application and update the Website url to polyorganic.com.br/ (non-www) and make sure the domain/namespace setting is polyorganic.com.br

Hopefully, all the above will help you track down the problem.

Hi Alzander,

Thanks man, this worked. It´s regarding AceSEF, the component change the URL´s to SEO and Facebook do not understand automatically without the "www".
