I seem to have a problem on: www.meegosweden.com/ where all blog items on frontpage likes the same link. They have the same like count and name. What could be the reason for that?

Link:

Comments seem to work fine.

I have pinpointed this to sh404sef plugin. If I disable sh404sef it works.

Is JFBConnect not compatible with sh404sef?

I was thinking of maybe its possible to set som special settings for sh404sef?

I tried putting the JFBConnect to skip sh404sef and just do regular sef. But it didnt work.

Has anyone else found a settings for sh404sef that works good with JFBConnect?

Claes,
I've been poking around your site a bit today, and really am not sure what's going on there.
First, when I went there, the home page's first article had 1 Like (I think), and the rest had 6. I'm assuming these last articles were all 'linked' like you said. I was not logged into Facebook at this time.
Then, about 30 minutes later I came back to the site, logged into Facebook, and all the Like buttons looked like they had 0 Like's (no number next to them). On clicking on them, the counter would increment to 1, but it was not posting to my wall and if I refreshed, the button had reset itself.

I'm not sure why your site isn't liking Like button clicks. We'll continue to investigate, but do can you let us know:
1) Was it ever working on your page, and just broke?
2) Has anything changed recently (if it was working before)?
3) Can you try with a different template to see if you have the same issue? Not sure why it would be template related, but that's the best guess I have for right now.

Just so you know, when we've seen "linked" like's, it's generally because the final article page that's being liked usually has an Open Graph URL tag on it that's pointing to another page. Therefore, if on your blog, you have 6 articles.. then, each of those articles each has an Open Graph URL tag that's pointing back to the home page, all likes would actually count for the Home page, not the individual articles. This doesn't look to be the case on your site, but if you had a default Open Graph URL tag configured in JFBConnect, that could have been the cause of the problem. As Facebook re-scans your site, it should clear itself up.

Hope this helps, and please let us know if you find anything.

Sorry, should have been more clear there that I turned off sh404sef after I found that it was the cause of the problem. If I enable sh404sef again it will be the same as there: most of them linked to 6 likes. I just enabled it again on the site and that is the case as you ca see. www.meegosweden.com

However I faultly did have facebook open graph meta tags in the templates index.php for awhile yesterday.. I suppose facebook indexed those and then made all articles on the frontpage have the same URL for likes. Will facebook reindex those ? I think that will fix this problem if that is the case.

But to be sure.. You have happy uses with sh404sef enabled? There are no special settings you need to do to make JFBConnect play well with sh404sef component?

I will keep sh404sef enabled (I would really like to keep it as it does alot for my SEO) and see if it might sort it self out..

We have many sh404SEF users, so we test regularly with sh404SEF and JFBConnect. Our best suggestion is to set sh404 to 'skip' URLs for JFBConnect since we really only have 1 user-visible URL (the login/register page) and the rest are used by Facebook, so it's best they're not altered. For your content URLs for likes and such, this won't be affected if you skip JFBConnect, so it really shouldn't have any negative effect.

As for caching the Open Graph tags, yes, Facebook will eventually re-fetch the page. It does so about every 24-72 hours (sometimes even more or less). However, you can use the Linter tool below to have it re-fetch and clear the cache. This will also let you see exactly what Facebook sees for those pages and you can even see the current Like count:
developers.facebook.com/tools/lint

Hopefully, this will get you squared away, but of course, if you run into other issues, just let us know!
