JFBC is great for social but my search visitation is getting killed by Google Webmaster errors caused by JFBC. We've spoken about this before and I am redirecting on logout as you suggested, but still the problem.

I tried to upload a PDF to you, but can't seem to so here's copy and paste from GWMT

20 or 30 of these a day is going to put me out of business. What can I do?

Thank you,
Keith

Keith,
This is something that we're looking into, however, it's not a high priority task for us, and I'll explain why below:
1) According to Google itself, 404's on a site do not hurt the overall site. Obviously, if a highly important page on your site returns a 404, that's a bad thing, but if it's unknown or random URLs, it's not a problem.
Official Google Webmaster Blog - Do 404's Hurt My Site? (Below is the most relevant question)

Q: Most of my 404s are for bizarro URLs that never existed on my site. What’s up with that? Where did they come from?
A: If Google finds a link somewhere on the web that points to a URL on your domain, it may try to crawl that link, whether any content actually exists there or not; and when it does, your server should return a 404 if there’s nothing there to find. These links could be caused by someone making a typo when linking to you, some type of misconfiguration (if the links are automatically generated, e.g. by a CMS), or by Google’s increased efforts to recognize and crawl links embedded in JavaScript or other embedded content; or they may be part of a quick check from our side to see how your server handles unknown URLs, to name just a few. If you see 404s reported in Webmaster Tools for URLs that don’t exist on your site, you can safely ignore them. We don’t know which URLs are important to you vs. which are supposed to 404, so we show you all the 404s we found on your site and let you decide which, if any, require your attention.

2) The URL that the above link is redirecting to is, which does come up with a 404:
/el-muro/events.html?groupid=17&sort=latest
Do you know what the "el-muro" path on your site is, or was? JFBConnect would not just make up a URL like that, so I would assume there was content on that page at one point. Do you know anything about that, or do you frequently change pages on your site? These would be causes for legitimate 404 errors.
Any information you can provide on what's may be happening on your site or structure will help us figure out why your site has, apparently, many more 404 pages than most.

Thanks,
Alex

Also, I just noticed, the 2nd URL you list above is not from JFBConnect at all. I don't know what extension you're using for Comments, but that may be another culrpit for your 404 issues. If you're seeing these problems from multiple pages and components on your site, you may need to investigate if there's an overall configuration issue with your site and/or server.
