Ok, I have my FB for my site set up in a way where I have a personal acct and then an sub acct for my website. When I am inside the Dev. area how do I designate where all the action from the connect goes. I cant seem to figure it out, and I think it is defaulting to my personal page.

In Facebook itself, simply click the Account setting and then "Use Facebook as Page" link. You can then change your account to be a 'Page' account that you have. From then on, when you visit pages and Like or Comment on things, it will post to your Page wall, and not your personal wall.

This is completely outside of JFBConnect, but hopefully, that will do what you're looking for. Good luck!

Ok, I did that. So now when I am in the right FB page, I can now go into the developers area and get all my app info and with this I should be able to set up the configuration and things will go to that FB page?

Oh, no, I see what you're saying. You can't create your Facebook application with a 'page'. account. It's always created with your personal account. This is simply how Facebook requires it, so that there's always a person at top.

I guess I'm not sure when you say "things will go to that FB page" what you're looking for still. There are 3 things that we're talking about right now:
* A personal Facebook account - This can Like things, comment on things, and create applications. Likes and comments (when not using Facebook as a Page), will go to your personal wall.
* A Facebook Page - This is for your business. You can manually post things here or use it as your Facebook as a Page so that when you Like or Comment on something, they go to this wall instead of your personal one
* A Facebook application - This is created by your personal account only. It's associated with your website (not your page). When someone "approves your application" during login, it's this.

There is no relationship between your FB application and FB page. They are completely separate in FB's eyes. On your website, you can use the JFBCFan module to show your Page, and have people like it, but again, they're separate things.

Hope that helps explain a bit more. If not, let me know exactly what you're doing and what you would expect to happen, and we can hopefully figure it out from there.

Thanks,
Alex

Yes, if you setup your Facebook account with your personal account, all you'll need is the API and Secret key from there. There's nothing you can, or should do, with your Page to create the application.

Many users of JFBConnect don't have pages at all. Once you do get everything setup though, JFBCFan will be good to show your page, amount of Likes for it, and get even more people to the Facebook page should you want it.

Hope that all helps, and no worries about taking the time to help. It's what we do. Thanks for subscribing, which allows us to offer our high level of support and great quality extensions!
