Hello,
I have recently purchased JFBConnect 3.2.1 , Im using Joomla 1.5.22 and Community Builder 1.3.1.
1. I did not found a JFBCInvite plug in code; I want to include it in an article, since the module does not fit my site's design- the right and left menus does not contain the module properly.
2. In the JFB demo site, when I registered the first time- I went through a registration process in which I could invite friends as part of the process- how can I control the process steps?
3. I want to create a menu for social modules so that a user/ visitor can go to "invite" or "recomandations" or any social module- in any time he wishes- through a menu item/s. The problem is when I create new menu item and select JFBconnect- my site does not recognize it and so I can't create the item.
4. Recognizing users: as Admin i am registered in email adress X. I registered to the site through a facebook profile with email adress Y. the site recognize me as Admin. Why is that?
5. When I log in the error * Your email has not been confirmed. shows- I checked in my CB settings - Registration approval is not necessary . What should be the problem?

Reply would be highly appreciated!

Sigal,
The way we show the Invite module on the demo site ( shown here ) is by doing the following:
1) Create an article like "Invite your friends to our site" and put some content in there to describe why they should invite their friends, or welcoming them to your site.
2) Create a new menu item of type "Content - Article View". Set the article in the right to be the article you created in step 1
3) Configure the JFBCInvite module to show up in the Menu Item

Then, on new user registration (in JFBConnect), you can set this menu item to be the one to show.

The same steps can work for any of the modules. The other modules also have the ability to put in {JFBCRecommendations} (or any of the other tags) into the article itself, so you don't even need step 3 above. The JFBCInvite module does not have the tag capability yet.

As for recognizing users, my guess is simply that you 'connected' your existing Joomla account to your Facebook account. This can be done when you register through Facebook and fill out the left-side of the registration form (logging in with an existing user) -or- if you're logged in through Joomla and you click the Reconnect facebook button. In either case, we'll associate your Joomla account with the Facebook account, even if the email addresses don't match.

For CB registration, make sure that you've enabled "Skip CB Activation" in the JFBConnect profile plugin as well.

Hope that helps!

Hi there!
I appreciate your reply, yet the menu item did not succeed-
I created the article+text ---> created main menu type: Article Layout---> selected the proper article---> configured the module to show on the specific menu item. And nothing... By pressing the menu item the article text alone shows, no module nor any invitations can be made.

A little more and i'm there- any suggestions?
Thank you.

Sigal,
My guess is one of the following:
1) The module isn't published
2) The module isn't positioned in a template position that shows on that page. Usually there's a good template position right below the article's contents, and that's what we'd recommend. By doing that, the article contents 'flow' into the invitation module.

One other option we didn't mention is using Joomla's Content - Load Module plugin. First, make sure this plugin is enabled. Then, in the JFBCInvite module, type (it won't be in the drop-down) the position "jfbcinvite" (or something similar). Then, in your article, simply type {loadposition jfbcinvite} and any modules in that position will appear.

Hope this all helps, but if not, let us know!
