Hello -

I searched and saw several threads on this issue, but none provided closure. The two options I found were to turn off importing of the Facebook user photo, but I'm not sure what the setting is. The other was to patch some code, but the directory structure for JFB has changed.

Anyway, I'm trying to get some secure pages up and running on my site. In IE, I get the dreaded "Some items aren't secure" pop-up Error. Using the Page Info option in Firefox, I found the following link is the error. external.ak.fbcdn.net/safe_image.php?d=f...61671_s.jpg&logo&v=5

Previous messages here said Facebook doesn't provide photos on a secure link. It looks like that might have changed.
I found some information on this page . That may provide solutions, but I'm not sure how to proceed.

Also, several places reference this link to a Facebook developer wiki, but the page can't be found.

At this point, I'd be interested in any short-term solution to suppress the offending link with, hopefully, a permanent solution so we can keep the user pictures.

Any help would be appreciated.

Erick,
The settings for the photo that are displayed are in the JFBCLogin module parameters. At the top, there are a few settings like "Enable Profile Picture" and 'Overlay facebook icon'. I've never seen the post you mention above, but using the settings I just called out may help. Specifically:
1) If you still want the avatar to show, try setting the "Overlay facebook icon" to No. According to the thread you mention, this goes around the bug where the picture is not loaded over SSL.
2) If you don't want the picture at all, simply set the "Enable Profile Picture" to Hide.

Unfortunately, this bug has cropped up continuously over the last few years, and there isn't a fool-proof solution, other than hiding the avatar altogether. You can still import it into one of our supported profile systems without issue, and then the avatar will be stored on your system and sent over SSL. Fortunately though, Facebook is making a big push toward full SSL support, and will likely be fixing these types of problems soon.

Hope this helps, and good luck!
