Hi guys!

I installed the component and activated the plugins. But when I fill in the Facebook API information, the system displays this error:
Facebook API Error: error setting certificate verify locations: CAfile: /etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt CApath: none

What have I done wrong?

hi,
go to configuration / facebook api and set "Disable SSL Certificate Validation" to YES

Thanks for helping out. Spot-on answer. While the SSL cert issue shouldn't affect most sites, and we recommend you contact your hosting provider to update their root certificates so that JFBConnect can validate the connection to Facebook, turning off this check is workable solution.
