Hello,

I just bought JFBconnect and I like it so far! Thank you for this extension.

Now I have to issues:

1. Sometimes when I try to login/signup with the facebook login button the facebook popup comes up and stays over the website (which is loading fine).
2. I wonder how profile types are being treated. We have to Jomsocial profile types. How does the user choose the profile type? And how do I show him the corresponding fields to fill out?

Thank you in advance for any help.

I think issue 1 has been resolved. But don't ask me what the problem was ;)

1) With brand new Facebook applications, sometimes, strange things happen in the first 1-3 days. It's not fun debugging, and a lot of the time, they solve themselves (as you've seen) as your new application information is distributed across all of Facebook's servers.

2) Right now, for JomSocial, we just use the default profile type for all users. We're going to be adding type selection in an upcoming update to the JomSocial profile plugin that will work for JomSocial's built-in profile types and the JomSocial Profile Type (JSPT) add-on from JoomlaXi.

Hope that helps explain the current, and future, functionality.

1. The facebook application is 1 year old so there must be something different wrong. However is does work now vey good.
2. Is there an estimated timeframe when JFBConnect will work with profile types? We wanted to go online with our relaunch in the next month. Every rimeframe info would be helpful (1 month? 6 months?)

I just responded to another thread with our current priorities, actually. Basically, this should be done within May. I don't want to narrow it down any further simply because testing and other higher priority issues may arise. For our 3 high priority items right now, see:

Hope this helps!
