Hi,

I need to change the font color of the JFB comments because it uses exactly by default the font color of my background. Which is no good because it blends with my site which hinders the comment font to become invisible. Please help me fix this issue. Thanks in advance.

The Comment module only has a light and dark color scheme. There use to be more configuration and styling options, but Facebook has slowly removed styling capability to prevent mis-use and keep their brand intact.

The option for the colorscheme is available in either the Social configuration area (if you're using the Content plugin to automatically insert the comments), the comment module or the comment tag. If you let me know what you're specifically using and need help with how to change the color scheme, just let us know!

Thanks for the link. Regarding the Comment and Like buttons, yes, you look to be using the JFBCContent plugin. You can easily configure the default color in the "Social" area of admin section of JFBConnect. In both the Like and Comment tabs, there's an option for "Color Scheme". There's only 2 options that Facebook provides, Light and Dark. Hopefully one will suit your needs.

As for the login issue, I just tried to click the Login With Facebook functionality, but when I did I was just redirected to the home page. I don't think anything happened. This generally occurs when there's a problem with the SEF extension configured on your site. Can you let me know what extension your using, and if possible, can you tell it to 'skip' altering JFBConnect's links? Facebook sends some crazy links to communicate with us, and altering them as little as possible is always good.

If that doesn't work, let us know, and we'll help you figure out what's happening.

Thanks!

Hey Alex,

Okay so I followed your instructions. I saw that in the content plugin - Like there is an option for Dark and Light colour scheme which is excellent, but the option is not available for Content Plugin - Comments. So please help advise me further. Also I am using the Artio JoomSef. I have no idea where to change ( 'skip' altering JFBConnect's links). As well, when you login using the facebook and goto an article, you will be able to leave a comment with the account that you login with but you are right I do notice that it redirects you to the homepage. I have a feeling that it also has something to do with the plugin configs. But it doesn't tell you that you are logged in. Anyways if you like I can provide my backend admin link with username and pass.

Ahh.. With Artio, you may just need to change the following setting:
In the advanced Configuration for Artio SEF:
"Fix index.php links" set to No

This is in our Common Support Question area, and was told to us by a user that fixed his site. I honestly don't know much about Artio, but we can definitely help if that doesn't work.

As for the Comment color scheme option, I see where the confusion is :) That setting was added in JFBConnect 3.2.1. When 3.2.0 came out (which you're using), Facebook didn't have the color scheme option for Comments. Enough people complained (including us), and they added it the day before 3.2.1 came out. We got it in there as fast as possible, and if you upgrade, you'll see it!

Hope that helps.. forgot that it's only in the bleeding edge :)

Good luck!

Sorry I meant I will write a review about your module and plugin on Joomla Extentions and I am going to recommend it to some of my colleagues who also should be using this powerful and robust plugin.
