Topic-icon Weird error when logging in using JFBConnect

Just purchased the component and went through the setup. Everything appears to be working with one exception. Here's my system:

Joomla 1.5.23
JFBConnect 3.2.1
Other components installed: AdminTools, Akeeba Backup, JomSocial 2.2.1, Kunena Forums 1.6.3, MobileJoomla 0.9.12
Using PixelParadise BlueTwo theme

Redirect on login/logout has been disabled in JFBConnect. Below is a screenshotof my JFBConnect overview:


I've enabled the JFBConnect Login module:


When I click on the Connect with Facebook, I get the popup window which shows it's conencting to facebook and then nothing happens as shown below:


If I close the window, I get the following error:


If I click on Reload, the page reloads and my Joomla home page is displayed and I am logged in via Facebook:

This happens when running Chrome, Firefox or IE. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

We've heard of this in a few limited cases recently. I just registered on your site, and saw the blank (white) page after trying to create an account. Thanks for your details above, but I have a few more questions:
1) It doesn't look like it, but do you have any SEF extensions installed and enabled? (sh404SEF, Joomla Core SEF, etc)
2) Do you have any JFBConnect Profile plugins published for extensions you don't have installed (JomSocial, CB, Agora, K2, Kunena)? If so, unpublish them, please.
3) Do you have any firewall/security extension installed, other than AdminTools?
4) Can you disable the security features in AdminTools, temporarily, to see if there's an improvement?

If none of these help, and you're ok with it, we may need admin access to your site to debug further.

Glad you're seeing the issue the same way I am. I just noticed that I get a blank whiter page in the popup box when I log in from facebook here as well. If I wait a few minutes and then close the box, I get logged in here using my Faceboox accout. Weird.

If none of these help, and you're ok with it, we may need admin access to your site to debug further. - No worries on admin access, this needs to get fixed.

Can you escalate the user I created to Super Admin? I'll install extPlorer (if not already there) which is a file manager that lets us make some edits to files. We'll work to figure out the problem and let you know what we find.

I fail to see how this pertains to my issue since I do not have the Agora Plugin installed or enabled on my site.

I just tried to login to the admin area, but got a "You do not have access to the administrator section of this site." Did you upgrade my "sourcecoast" account to Super Admin? Just want to make sure you got the right account (or that I didn't name it something else.. sometimes happens).

Thanks for fixing my permissions. We narrowed it down to the following setting in our JomSocial profile plugin:
Import Facebook Status: Yes

I still don't know the exact answer, but setting this to 'no' fixed the issue for now. Unfortunately, this means don't re-enable it right now. Fortunately though, this is an easy, temporary, fix that hopefully you can live with.

JomSocial 2.2 overhauled the activity wall in a few ways, and it's possible we just missed this. We did some testing with it, and profile and avatar import works as expected. Once we find the issue, we'll get a release out. This isn't a 'critical' issue, which means it won't be today or tomorrow, but by or on this weekend, expect an updated release of the JomSocial profile plugin.

Hope that's acceptable, and if it's not, let us know and we can look into re-prioritizing it. If you run into anything else in the meantime, let us know, and hopefully it's smooth sailing from here.
