100 times is definitely excessive. It's something we've looked into before, but added a new case to our tracker to investigate more thoroughly.
Basically, when we've seen this, it's never been a problem. What can happen is that during login, Facebook can redirect to your page more than once. This can be due to a redirection on your page from an SEF component, or simply a matter of how Facebook works. This can have the effect of actually logging the same user in twice (creating more than one session for them). In all cases, it's the 'same' user that's logged in, and to them, they see no difference and it shouldn't cause any problems.
Again, 100 is many more than we've seen. On this site, there are times when one user may show up 2-3 times, but not more. If you think it's causing problems, definitely let us know. We can tell you flat-out that it's not a security problem, if that's a concern. If we can improve the system in the future to eliminate this problem, we will.
Thanks, and hope this helps!
