Can you check a few things and let me know the answers?
1) What is your setting for "User Creation"? Full Joomla Users or Facebook Only?
2) What is your setting for "Automatically Link Facebook Users by Email"?
3) Can you check the User Map tab in JFBConnect to try and determine if the user's Joomla account that has the same email address is listed there? This will help us determine where in the process something broke down.
4) Can you you let us know what User plugins you have enabled on your site?
5) Are you using any SEF URLs on your site, and if so, what are you using to generate them (Joomla core SEF, sh404SEF, Artio, etc)

Sorry for the spew of questions, but that's not an issue we've heard of. Obviously, that's a bad thing to happen though, so hopefully, with the info above we can figure out what may be wrong quickly.

Thanks!

1) Facebook user only

2) Automatically Link Facebook Users by Email: yes

3) before that the user user try to login with facebook, it is not present in "user tab";
after he tried to login with Facebook, is present in "user tab" but still can not log in because
getting the same error.
(I remember that happening only for registered users who want to being recorded by
facebook and who have the same email.)

4)
user plugin:
User - Joomla!
User - Admin-User-Access
User - K2
User - JFBConnect Facebook
User - JComments

5) tes i use sh404 but but the problem is even if it is disabled, and also if i disable the
joomla core sef

6)
I would add that: After reporting the error, the site appears to be unreachable for you until
you remove the cookie.

7) Firefox returns this error:
"Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this page so that it can
never be completed.
This problem is often caused by the blocking or rejection of cookies."

Thank you for help.

Marcus,
I'm honestly not sure what's up. Can you private message us the URL for your site, and if possible, super admin credentials so we can debug further. I don't think we'll figure this out quickly in the forums, and we'd like to knock this one out quickly.

Thanks!

Marcus, I just did exactly what you said:
* I created an account through CB (username sourcecoast)
* I validated the email address on the account
* I then did Login through Facebook with a user with the same email address.

It logged me in just fine, and it shows my avatar in the JFBCLogin sidebar module, as expected.

I didn't get any errors in the process. Is there anything I'm missing? I used Chrome, but a redirect error should affect all browsers equally... not sure what's up, but let us know if you changed anything.

Thanks!

ok
The cause is that: I created the account by the operator's native joomla, but I set jfb so that he must use "community buoilder".
When I created users with the manager native, "community builder " activate them but by the backend log does not entirely approve them until I used the tool "Synchronize Users ".

thanks a lot, you were very kind.

Ahh. I gotcha. Glad you figured that out. Yes, that's something you need to do in Community Builder whenever you creat a user through Joomla's User Manager. That's not due to JFBConnect.

Glad we got you going, and good luck!

If you continue to use JFBConnect, we'd appreciate it if you'd consider leaving a rating and review on the Joomla Extension Directory:
