Alex,
Several issues;
1. When a person is logged into facebook and goes to my site and /log in with facebook/hits agree/page loads with invite your friends/once you have invited your friends an error message appears.
2. The Joomla Registration appears above the Facebook register. Would like that to disappear.
3. The entire registration page overlays the Home page and after the error appears, every time the user goes to my site this page appears and you can't get out of it.
I disable the login in until I figure this out.
Thanking you in advance.

Can you post a link to you page? The JFBConnect component does not have a pop-up registration form. The only thing that should pop-up is the Facebook login window. After that, if you have User Creation set to "Full Joomla User", you're brought to a full page (not a popup) which lets the user login with an existing account or register a new one. If you have User Creation set to "Facebook Only", there's no registration form, the user should just be logged in.

Do you have any other Facebook extensions installed or configured? It's possible that's the pop-up registration form your seeing.

If you don't know what I mean, please enable the JFBCLogin module on a specific page on your site and send us a link to it, so we can see what's actually happening.

Thanks!

Alex,
When the user creation was set to "Full Joomla User" and you hit agree/the attached page loads to invite your friends. When you invite your friends the attached appeared. I changed the user creation to "facebook only" and the following appears.
Invalid argument
Given URL is not permitted by application configuration
Email address
Password
www.DownTicketDems.com
I enabled the JFBC Login link and it is on the front page. Thanking you in advance.

Howdy, and sorry for the delay.

The error you're getting is basically stating that the URL that the user should go to, after they register/login, is not owned by your application. This is occuring because your Facebook application is likely setup with the following configuration settings:
Site URL: www.downticketdems.com/
Base URL: <blank>

If you go to your site without the www, you won't see the issue. That's because, on the web, www.site.com is different than site.com. You should update your Facebook application settings to:
Site URL: www.downticketdems.com/
Base URL: downticketdems.com

That will allow your Facebook Application to work with or without www.

Hope this helps, and good luck!

Alex,
I corrected it on facebook's site. We are close.
1.When a person clicks on "Login with facebook", the page still appears as an overlay of the home page as shown in the attachment. I would like it to appear as a separate page.
2. When you invite friends, it seems to work until you get to the screen that says "Skip". When you hit "Skip" the 500 error page appears.
3. Also if you "log in" to write a comment after an article, it works great but if you hit the "login in with facebook" button after you have log in the comments sections because you want to invite friends, the 500 error page appears. I would like the invite friends to be part of both log ins. Is that possible?
I am so grateful for your help. Thanking you in advance.

1) If the overlay you're talking about is the Invite module, then I think you just have it configured incorrectly in the Joomla module manager. I would create a new article, call it "Invite your Friends". Then, create a menu item that points to this article. Set the Invite module to only display on this menu item. Finally, set the new user redirection (in JFBConnect) to go to this menu item.
That way, the invite module will only display when a user logs in.
If you're talking about a different overlay (like login or something else that I'm missing), let me know.
2 & 3) We'll investigate this on your site and let you know what we find. Hopefully, #1 can get you started on fixing some of the issues right now...

Yikes! I followed your instructions. Now when a user goes to the site and puts in their facebook email and password the invite friends is now in the right hand column and in the middle is invite friends and the comment box. Also, once facebook and the new user are linked, the top right hand column, indicates "Login or Register Hi fb_6809881". I have now run out of new users that I know their facebook emails and passwords. So I can't test. Please note that I would like what is currently appearing on the right to appear on a separate page. I really think I am just a few settings away. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Change the JFBCInvite position to "Bottom". That will put it in the main content area.

In the 3.2 release, you'll be able to specify specific articles that the Comment box should (or shouldn't) automatically appear on. So once that's out, you can remove that if you'd like.

As for users to test with, if you don't need the accounts, simply delete the users through the Joomla User area. Then, you can use that same user to recreate an account.

On a separate note, I just tried to create an account, and am not sure things are configured correctly on your end. Mainly, make sure that the JFBConnect User plugin is ordered after the Joomla User plugin. The JFBConnect plugin must have a higher ordering number than the Joomla one. This requirement is also, thankfully, removed in 3.2. If the plugins are ordered incorrectly, the user's Joomla account can be created incorrectly or not properly associated with their Facebook account.

As always, hope this helps and good luck!

I was so close before. I went back and unpublished the new article I created called invite friends and unpublished the new invite module. Changed the new user redirect to Home. I did all of this because I was almost there as you can see in the attached image from several messages ago. Then I went back in through Joomla and Community Builder and delete the account to test. When I went back in the try to login through facebook, the invite your friends page that was appearing no longer appears. I was so close before. Note that when a new user logs in through facebook everything works fine in the comments section. Yeah! They can't invite friends anymore. The User JFB Connect plug in is 1 and User Joomla Plug in is 3.

I emailed you, and hopefully we can settle some of this stuff offline easier. One thing I note above is:

The User JFB Connect plug in is 1 and User Joomla Plug in is 3.

That's the incorrect ordering. The JFBConnect plugin should be a higher number than the User one. It's possible this is a cause of a lot of your issues, because with the wrong ordering, the user may not be created properly which will cause a lot of other issues.

Fortunately, in 3.2, this requirement will be gone. It's a pain to explain and understand.
