The site I need help with is orionrivertrips.com. Upon installation JFBCcomments and JFBClike displayed in some modules not all as the do on my home page now. I set the modules to display on the content pages that I wanted them to and they displayed correctly. However, those showing on my home page (and various other pages-mainly at the top of content pages) still displayed as the are now. I've since deleted the modules, figuring this might solve the problem, and planned to reinstall. But, with the modules uninstalled, the cache cleaned, the browser cleaned (and maybe even the screen cleaned) the still display. Do you have any idea how I can get rid of them? Would uninstalling and reinstalling the entire component help?

I'd have to recommend a few tests to see where, and why, the modules are showing in the wrong spots. First, disable the Content plugin altogether and see if the comment and Like blocks go away. If so, then it may just be a configuration parameter (such as Show on Front Page) that is set incorrectly. Then, make sure you've disabled any JFBCLike or JFBCComments modules that you may have enabled. Again, check if the blocks are gone, and if so, see if you can narrow down their display to specific menu items a little further. Finally, if none of the above helps, unpublish all and make sure that Joomla's Caching in the Global Configuration is disabled. Rinse, repeat the above and see if things look better and start enabling modules/plugins from there.

Hope this helps get you started on the possible areas to look. In JFBConnect 3.2 (due in the next few weeks) we have a completely revamped, and easier, system for including the Comment and Like boxes throughout your site, based on category, section or layout (front page, blog, article, etc).

Let us know if you continue to have issues, and we'll see what we can do to help!

Thank you. Your reply was clear and educational regarding how to approach a problem. I feel bad that I took your time because it was a simple matter of disabling the plugin. I had forgotten that from an earlier site. Again, I genuinely appreciate your assistance.
