Kishan,
We'd recommend you move to JFBConnect which lets you easily set the Open Graph tags on your site, or per page. Additionally, our Comment box has a lot of configuration options to let you automatically insert it into every article, or you can easily add it to individual pages.

I don't know anything about the Face Comments plugin, so I can't help you there. We'd recommend you ask for support from their developers. Should you decide to subscribe to JFBConnect, you can be assured of top-notch support though, and a solidly working Facebook integration extension.

Good luck,
Alex

Our full configuration guide can be found at the page below:
www.sourcecoast.com/extensions/jfbconnect/configuration-guide

To get access to the Joomla 1.5 or Joomla 1.6 versions, you need to be a subscriber. That's what allows us to have such great releases and such solid support. You can learn more about our subscriptions at:
www.sourcecoast.com/extensions/jfbconnect

Should you need any specific help configuring it, that isn't related to the href parameter, please start a new thread, and we'll help you there.

Thanks, and good luck,
Alex

I'm having the same error. Here is the page:

I'm not sure what I need to download (or where that download is). Do I have to re-subscribe in order to get the new download?

Alatka,
I removed the link to your site because you posted a link to a WordPress site. JFBConnect only works with Joomla-based sites. Are you using any Joomla sites? If so, yes, if you subscribe and get the latest release of JFBConnect, your issue should be resolved as we automatically create the href parameter in the latest 3.2.2 release.

Hope that helps!
Alex

I'm not sure what you were looking at, but my site IS a joomla site. It is Joomla 1.5. I've been using the JFBComments without issue for 6 months or so. I use Artisteer to create the template, so perhaps it looks like a wordpress site, but it is Joomla.

Joomla site:
www.amylatkablog.com/home/categories/hor...2011-iea-horse-trial

Am I understanding correctly that I have to pay ANOTHER subscription fee in order to correct this? That makes me NOT HAPPY.

Alatka,
Sorry for the confusion. I'm not sure what I looked at before, but your page is definitely a Joomla site.

However, looking at your page, you're not even using JFBConnect. You look to be using the KA Facebook Comment plugin, which is not ours. Looking at your account on our site, you did register about 9 months ago, but you've never actually subscribed to JFBConnect.. at least not with the account your posting with.

Regarding the updated comment box, this was a change that Facebook announced it would be making in early March. We supported the change in our 3.2 release that came out on April 7th. Facebook finalized the change, and broke backward compatibility (which is what you're seeing on your site) in early May. We also sent a newsletter to all subscribers about the change, and made sure they were aware of the differences, and how to migrate to the new system. If the extension you're using doesn't support the new comment box, or didn't notify you of the change which can cause you to loose all of your previous comments, we'd recommend looking into a better supported solution, like JFBConnect.

Hope this explanation all helps you out, and if you need anything else, just let us know!
Alex
