Not a weird question.. or if it were, in regards to Facebook, everything would be a weird question.
Short answer: No, not that we know of. We simply tell Facebook "Here's a post for the user's wall", and that gets updated as their status (and inserted into their wall). Facebook's changed the behavior of these posts over time.. at one point, Like's didn't change the user's status.. but recently, they updated it so it did. The Login/Registration posts always updated the user's status. I'd recommend disabling the Login post though if getting complaints, cause that can post repeatedly (if they log in a lot), and isn't as 'active' of an action.. whereas Like'ing something is generally intentional and not unwarranted to put in their feed.
