Hello,

I have just installed JFBconnect component. First when I clicked on "overview" in back-end i've got a red meesage telling me that I had to provide right URL. So far things where ok. I went to my facebook account and asked for API key's, secret key etc..

I filled-in fields in joomla with them and now each time I click on overview tab I have a page with error message :

Error to load the page : bonsplans.lejardindeschimeres.info/admin...ption=com_jfbconnect.

I have this error only if I click on overview tab, the other ones are working well.

Any suggestion ?

regards,
Bruno.

That's very strange.. we haven't heard of that one before.

Is it possible for you to private message us a set of super administrator credentials? You can PM me by clicking the arrow under my name (<----) and hitting the mail icon. When I try to use the Login with Facebook button on the front-end, I get a similar error, so something's definitely wrong. I don't know if it's the installation. You can always try installing it again.. you don't need to uninstall first, and none of your settings will be erased.. it's possible that will fix whatever happened.

Beyond that, I'm honestly unsure what's going on without being able to take a deeper look. Sorry for the troubles.

Bruno,
We just got into the site, and ran into an issue we've never experienced before. For some reason, our call to Facebook is failing in a very strange way. We disabled this call (for the overview area only), so you can get in there. However, ignore the errors at the top of the page. The information being received from Facebook is correct your Site and Base Domain look to be setup correctly.

Although you can get into the admin area now, the same problem will still occur on the front-end when someone hits the Login With Facebook button. We're going to investigate further to see if there's known issues with your version of PHP or cURL. cURL is the PHP library that lets us talk with Facebook. Both are out of date on your server, but not 'really' out of date, so I don't think that's the problem. It may also be an issue with your server configuration in general, but just don't know yet.

We'll let you know what we find. Can you tell us what host you're on?

Thanks, and sorry for the troubles.
