Hi!

Someone just posted to the wall, but it didn't come through on the Fan module.
The Facebook FAN ID is correct, b/c some of the posts show.

Is there something I'm missing? It seems like not all the posts show either...

Thanks!

The fan module will display posts from your page, not necessarily what you're users have posted. I don't think it will post any posts that other users put on your page, but I could be wrong.

If you want us to try some things, if you would, please post the page that you have the JFBCFan module on and the FB page you're linking too, and we'll see if we can find out anymore for you.

Thanks!

Hi!

Here's the website page:
www.triatomics.org/duathlon

...and the FB page:
www.facebook.com/pages/Atomic-Man-Duathlon/131641503569217

You'll notice on the FB page there was a post on 3/5 of for a training plan :
Atomic Man 8-Week Training Plan Starts Monday 3/7!

...but this does not show on the website.

I did the same with my site:
solwebsolutions.com/facebook

...and posted to my FB page about a downhill skateboard race:
www.facebook.com/pages/Sol-Web-Solutions...892176865771?sk=wall

...and it did come through on my website...but I'm an admin on Sol Web Solutions, so don't know if that matters.

Thanks!

Chip,
The Fan module only posts things from the admins of the page. It doesn't post things from other users, in an attempt to make sure that when you put the Fan module on your page, users see relevant posts and understand what they're 'fanning'. It prevents your website users from seeing other users posts which sometimes make it up on your wall that don't always relate.

It's a Facebook thing, and there's little we can do about it. Hope that's acceptable for you.

Hi!

Was just thinking about this, and it would benefit us to have all posts, or at least several users. We have coaches, club officers, etc that would post to the FB page, and it would be very helpful to see their posts in addition to admins.

Anyway to get a set of "allowed" users in addition to the admins?

Thanks!

Not that we know of, off-hand.. but I'll try to look into it over the next few days and see if there's anything we come up with.

Great...thank you!
That would be a huge help (and deal sealer) for almost half a dozen sites that I would like to use this on.
