Also, if you don't mind, how are you doing the regex? Just curious as to what plugin your using, or if it's something custom. We had a question (that we helped a user solve) when using the Registration Validation plugin, and we can help in that area if you're using the same plugin.

The regex validation is custom made. I believe the programmer simply replaced the stock username validation code in CB with his own code. No plugins were developed, as far as I can tell.

Just a quick line to mention that autoapproval has been working for the last 10 days :-). I now have another problem, posted separately (my customer can't login!)
