We just got into your site and found a few things that may be misconfigured, but still aren't sure of what the problem is.
1) When I go to your Facebook Application, (
Here
) The "Go to App" url goes to you
afrocanmedia.com/home/ If that's correct, please give me access to that site. Otherwise, remove the /home/ from the Site URL in the FB application.
2) I'm not sure why the Site URL and Base Domain aren't showing up in the JFBConnect Overview. It also doesn't show up when we use a test set of keys we have. It's possible this will correct itself if you're using a new application. Since the Stats are working, I wouldn't worry about the red warning message for now.
3) I don't think system messages are enabled in your template. These are the messages with a red or blue background that say "Your password doesn't match" and other messages like that. I could be wrong, but if they're missing, see the following article (or contact your template provider) to add them:
www.compassdesigns.net/joomla-blog/what-...include-type-message
4) Finally, when I try to log in on the front-end of your site (I put the site online, temporarily), it's properly asking for permissions and approval of the application. However, the page it brings me to (the Login/Register page) is blank. I don't know why that is. Do you have anything in your template that would prevent our component page from being displayed?
The page it's trying to load is:
afrocanmedia.com/en/component/jfbconnect/?view=loginregister
I get the same missing view if I go to the page below, which is a default Joomla page. So this doesn't seem to be JFBConnect related.
afrocanmedia.com/index.php?option=com_user&view=login
Please let me know if the above helps. If I can get to the login/register page of JFBConnect, we'd be able to test further if things are working right, but so far, they seem correct.
Finally, as for permissions, when you have a profile plugin enabled for a 3rd party extension, we automatically request the permissions to access any fields you want to import from. There shouldn't be a need to hard-code this.
Thanks, and let us know what you find.
