It's being worked on, but I can't give any sort of timeline. With the 3.1 release, one of our main goals was having a solid framework for adding tighter integration between Facebook and your pages/articles. We had solidified the profile stuff previously. So, the next territory we're planning to focus on is extending our code to add these types of features like auto-posting and easier status updates for users, but it's an early work in progress right now.
Love to hear we're on the right track (this has been requested before), but sorry I can't be more specific.
