Sorry for taking so long to respond to this. Somehow I missed this post.. glad I went back a little.

Right now, we don't have a way to import Facebook users into your Contacts. Frankly, we had never thought about it, but think it could be a pretty easy "built-in" way to store some profile data. I've added it to our task list, and when we release the next round of profile plugins (next few weeks), this may very likely be one.
