I have just installed JFBConnect 3.1.1 with J! 1.5.22. and Community Builder. I have setup the FB app as directed and copied all paramters into JFBC. It worked for a while, but now I am unable to connect from login module, the comment plugin is not loading. However the configration settings are accurate and I can view and edit the app on FB. What is going on?

Good question, and I'm not sure. Obviously, it should work more then temporarily. If you could, post a link to your page (or private message it to us). Usually, we can look at a page's HTML and let you know what's causing the issue. Many times, it's other Facebook extensions installed that conflict with JFBConnect. If you have installed any other Facebook extensions, let us know.

We'll help you solve it though, don't worry :)

Ok. I have disabled some other FB extensions I had earlier installed and all seems to be well. Thanks

Is there another way to use the invite module other than in an article. Or is there a way I can exempt the content plugin from showing in that particular page? It is looking too busy, with invite form, like button and comment form all showing.

You can show the Invite Module in any available module position, and if you have another type of 'blank' page you can put it on, that should work. Unfortunately though, that's easier said than done.

We're working on improvements to the content plugin to allow you to specify categories that the plugin will show the Like/Comment box on, and that should fix your issue. Not ready yet, but it's a high priority now as this type of request is becoming common.

Thanks,
Alex

And while you are at it, please enhance control over the way the invite box appears on the page. For instance, I would like to center it on my page. It is loking too scattered! I thought it woud look ok after I removed all side modules from the page, but no luck. Take a look - www.smeclub.net/invite-friends. Oh well, you would have to connect to see it.

It's impossible for us to have configuration options for every type of setting, but you should be able to use a style sheet to position the module how you want. If you have questions, let us know, but you can start with the Moduleclass Suffix in the module, which will give the Invite module a unique class (moduletable-jfbcinvite, for example), and then you can use a margin to position the module how you want.

Unfortunately, the module works by creating an iFrame to Facebook, and so we have little control over how the contents of the Invite module looks.

Finally, I just registered on your site, and could not access the page you linked to above. Just wanted to let you know.

Thanks!
