I've got the facebook comments module working great, but I cannot figure out to be notified when new comments are posted. I'd like to receive an email with each new comment posted.

Currently, there's no way to do that. We're just about to release the 3.1 version (next few days), and in the immediate release after that (3.1.1, should be in January), we're hoping to have some sort of notification feature. We're confined somewhat by what we can do from Facebook, but we have some ideas on how to do it.

Hope that helps answer your question. Glad you got everything setup otherwise!

Not yet. That functionality is being investigated, and we're hoping to have something for the next release (3.2) which should be along faster than the transition from 3.0 to 3.1 was (which was 4 months).

Thanks for the feedback, it definitely helps guide what we should be focused on!

Ok, this feature is a must have for next release, you should be focused only for that, we have a 3000 articles... where are the comments? :)

It will be nice thing to add something in the background for managing comments, some email or facebook notification and maybe module for displaying a most recent comments or articles with most comments... And, commenting as administrator.

We have a few high priority items, but this is definitely one of them. We've been focused on the 3.1 release lately which really re-structured the component to allow for easier integration between the 'social' aspects of Facebook and Joomla, not just easy registration. It's really the next big area we want to tackle, and you'll see big improvements and new features in this area of the next few releases.

Thanks for the input!
