We release v3.1.2 of JFBConnect last week which added that string to the language file. We'd recommend installing that version as there's a few other bug-fixes and enhancements in it ( see the changelog ).

If you're hesitant to upgrade, the post below shows you where can modify the string directly in earlier versions:

Good luck!

I have upgraded to new version, but now facebook button, is not showing. Last time I upgraded 2-3 weeks ago, this did not happen, as I have done earlier ''template override" (as described in your Troubleshooting). What could be wrong now?
And this version is showing in serbian automatically, I did not have to change language in code, like earlier.

Thank you in advance.
Regards,
Jovana

Jovana,
It's still the same issue as before. The language that's trying to be loaded is "sr_YU". The Fan module is working because you're using a different extension, which is passing the language to Facebook as it loads, and is using the language sr_RS.

You should still follow the instructions in the post above to update the Facebook locale properly.

Let us know if that helps!

Should I change language code like in post number 7?
If I try to do that, I can't find /plugins/system/jfbconnect.php file. In folder plugins/system there is only jfbsystem.php and some that are not related I think.
Where to change language code this time?
JFBconnect is acting very strange since I upgraded to newest version. When I am logged in on facebook it is not able to reconnect with facebook account (on pages where the button is showing) MAP USER FAIL. And blue button Reconnect facebook is not showing on some pages, it is showing on articles and not showing in community and front page of site.
Yesterday, there were some problems with facebook or component, is that causing this strange acting of component? Or I didn't do upgrade well?

Regards,
Jovana

Apologies. I edited that post. The correct file is what you mention, the jfbcsystem plugin.

Most of the issues you mention are likely caused by the language string not being correct. If the language code is not one that Facebook supports, their entire Javascript library won't load. If that doesn't load, you won't be able to login or do a lot of the features that are required for JFBConnect to work. Please update the string and see if that fixes your issue.

Yes, yesterday, there were some big issues with Facebook Connect. They're mostly cleared up by now, but it still seems to be causing some minor issues for a few users. I don't think this is the cause of your problems though.

Hope this helps, and sorry for the confusion about the language setting. In the next release we will have a way to set the language manually as a configuration option.

Thank you very much for your help. After putting code for language, it is connecting facebook users again.
I have edited language file and it seems like it is showing messages in serbian language now.

Thank you.

Jovana

Fantastic. Glad to hear that's working for you.

If you use JFBConnect, and would like to vote for the extension or our support on the JED, we'd appreciate it. It's certainly not necessary though:

Best of luck!

FYI - We've just released a new version of JFBConnect tonight that makes setting up the Language Locale simpler. Simply go to Components > JFBConnect > Configuration > Facebook API and set your locale for the "Facebook Language Locale" setting. You'll no longer need to hack the JFBCSystem plugin to set this up.

Thanks!
