Register Joomla User with Facebook Details

If you login with Facebook for the first time, you go to the login/register page like you see. If the user fills out the left side of the form (Login), this will then associate the Facebook account with whatever Joomla user they log in with. Later on, if they login with Facebook, it will log them into that Joomla account. If they use the right side form (register), it will create them a new Joomla account and everything will work the same when the log back in later.

Hope that helps explain that form. Another option you may want to use is the "Automatically Link Facebook Users by Email:". If this is enabled, if a user logs in using Facebook and there's already a Joomla user on the site with the same email address, it will skip the login/register form and automatically associate the 2 accounts.

The "Connect With Facebook" button text is configurable in the language file. That can be whatever you want it to be, but the purpose is the same.. to log you in with Facebook credentials.

As for 2), can you send me a link to the page you're using JFBConnect on? That can be caused by a lot of reasons, including the User and Authentication plugins not being enabled, another Facebook widget or connect extension on your site, a misconfiguration of JFBConnect or a few other things. If we can see the page, it's usually easy to diagnose. Or feel free to check the above and see if you can determine the cause of the problem.

In both Firefox or Chrome, I'm not getting a redirection error. I log in (and registered initially through Chrome) just fine. Have you changed anything? If not, can you PM me an admin access and I'll look around?

Also, were you ever using an older version (2.x) of JFBConnect?
