Hi there

I am using JomSocial 1.8 and have been using their defaul Facebook Connect functionality. I like your JFBConnect and therefore purchased your bundle. In installed it on my dev site, configured it using my exisintg Facebook app details, and disabled all the JomSocial connect modules.

As soon as I click the "Login using Facebook" button of JFBConnect, it goes into an infinate loop (see attached screenshot.) where it says"Automatically logging you in with your Facebook credentials", and then gives an error "Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet."

Please advise how I should succesfully swap from using the default JomSocial Facebook Connect to using yours.

That's usually caused when either the JFBConnect Authentication or JFBConnect User plugins aren't enabled. Try checking the JFBConnect Overview page in the admin area and see if there are any errors in your configuration.

If that doesn't tell you anything, post (or Private Message) me a link to your page and we'll check it out.

What you said about how you were trying to migrate from JomSocial sounds spot on.

You're right, it was the plugins that were not enabled. i feel embarrassed that I did not figure that out myself! Thanks!
