JFBC is not importing any data whatsoever into kuena I orginally thought it might have been a problem with community builder also getting the data, but I was sick of CB anyways so I completely removed it from my site.. btw u should have the jfbc do a check against cb and disable cb integration if cb isnt detected. I had to open the sql tables to turn off the integration after i uninstalled cb.. but anyways I tryed everything I could think of but im simply not getting data from FB downloaded into my kuena profiles no avatars, no dates, etc. etc. I belive i have everything configured right. but it is still not working. JFBC V3.0.3 and Kuena v1.6.1 Joomla v 1.5.21

We'll do a little more investigation into it. We've tested JFBConnect with Kunena 1.6.0, but it's always possible they changed something that we didn't account for with 1.6.1 (hopefully not). We'll let you know what we find.

Was importing into Kunena ever working?

We agree that we should gracefully handle a few things better (like uninstalling other extensions), and we'll be improving those things as new releases come out.

Thanks!

not for me but I installed JFBC onto my site directly that already had 1.6.1 already installed. I was using CB before integrated into kuena so I was able to get arround it for the avatar portion but it never imported any of the data. It was importing the cb fields but it never got any of the kuena fields filled out.

i discovered the problem with my kunena, My upgrade instalation did not remove the file kunena.user.class.php and so jfbc was trying to use the kunena 1.5DB tables instead of the 1.6 ones so the information was importing, just to the wrong place.

Wow, sorry for forcing you to find the answer. We did some investigation, to no avail. We'll definitely take note of this in the future to see if there's a better way we can detect the version installed.

When you say you installed it "directly", does this mean you overwrote what was there, instead of using the installer? Just trying to figure out if it's something that may be more common or not.

Thanks so much for reporting your findings back here!
