We have responded before 12 hours more than once in this thread, but again, I understand your point.

Based on your feedback here and others we've heard over the last few months, we've already announced a price increase which will allow us to focus on, and add additional support staff, as required. It's always a compromise between quality, support, and price. We've always put the highest priority on quality. Support can sometimes take up to 24 hours for a response (we try never to go beyond that), but for $30 over 6 months, we've felt that was an acceptable support window.

The increases at the end of this month will still be much lower than the $160 price of jReviews to which you're comparing us (and won't be limited to one domain). We use jReviews on multiple sites, so not saying they're not worth it, just pointing out that an increase of 5x in price certainly comes with a expected improvement in support times.

Again, thank you for the feedback. We are listening and do appreciate it.

Hey Rajat,
Could you describe how I can implement the fix you had figured out when you said this?

"I worked around and disabled the validation in core joomla files that checks for same email addresses. "

I'd like to duplicate it.
Many thanks.

Nikkia,
In case you don't get a response from Rajat immediately, we're working on an option to enable automatic mapping to users. We should have it in the next release which will be out in a few days. Once we've tested it a little more, we'll post the code here in case you want to implement it before the release is out (and provide feedback)

Thanks

We've added the new automatic user mapping in the latest 3.0.0 release. There is a new parameter "Automatically Link Facebook Users by Email" in the component User Configuration section.

If the value is Yes: If a user logs in via Facebook for the first time, and their email address is already in use by a Joomla user, map the Facebook user to that account automatically. If the value is No: The "User Creation" setting will apply. The user will be asked to associate their Facebook account to a Joomla account, or one will be created automatically for them. Note: If set to "No", and their Facebook email address is already in use on the site, they may receive an error. Joomla does not allow using the same email address for 2 separate users.
