Good day! Firstly I would like to congratulate you for developing such a useful component for Joomla. Now, I there is this problem that I have been having for some time now, and since now I totally have no idea what to do after fiddling with my configurations, I set my sights on your support.

It's like this, if a user logs in to my site using his/her Facebook account, the user successfully gets logged in. But after some time (assuming of course that the user is still logged in) the Error Code 102 message appears. Can you help me with this? Thanks!

Sorry for the delay in responding to your other post, I overlooked the support request. I'll work with you in this thread instead of that one.

Honestly, I don't know the cause. We're leaving some pages open in Safari, Firefox, and Internet Explorer tonight and will see if we can recreate the issue. Can you answer a few questions for us to help us possibly narrow down the cause (in case we can't recreate it):
* Is there a particular browser your using, or have you observed this in multiple cases?
* Do you have to navigate to a new page for the error to appear, or does it show up on the page automatically?
* Does the error show up in a pop-up, or on the page itself?

Finally, we just added JFBConnect 3.0 Release Candidate 1 to our downloads area. This uses a whole new back-end connection to Facebook with their new interface. It's likely that this may fix the issue on it's own, but we'll try to investigate the problem both with 2.6.x and 3.0. If you'd like to give the new release a spin, we'd love to have your feedback!

I just tried installing your updated component. After refreshing the home page I got a "Cannot redeclare class Facebook" message, I'm not sure how I got this one, and just for added info, I am using JomSocial version 1.6.285.

If you're using JomSocial, ensure that the Facebook features into their component are disabled. That should always be the case when using JFBConnect and will prvent both of our extensions from including the Facebook library.

Our next release of 3.0, we'll be renaming the Facebook class to prevent some of these class conflicts as other 3rd party extensions include the library as well.
