So I paid to upgrade to the new version based on what it says online

"Version 2.6 Updates:
Import user's real emails from Facebook into your Joomla site"

Am I missing something or was this a mistake? I would like a simple registration much like THIS website. Click connect and it registers the user vs on my site you connect then it asks if you are an existing user or if you'd like to register, at which point you can register and put in any email address you please. Am I missing a setting somewhere or did I just pay for an update for nothing?

The setting you want is "Create New Users" set to "No". You can read more about this setting in our configuration guide:

Also, please post with whichever account you purchased your subscription for. We prioritize support for those with active subscriptions, which the account you're using above does not currently have. If you feel that's a mistake, please let us know.

Thank you very much for your support and answer. All works great now! There's not a way to import the city and state as well is there without using jomsocial or another component?

I'm not sure what you mean about importing city and state. Those are options we allow you to map from Facebook to a JomSocial profile field. If you're unable to, let us know.
