Login problems was created by fb_604171308
Hello,
On one my sites this is happening more than the other one. I have this installed on two joomla sites. Actually, I'm having this problem with both sites. On my site here: WordSaladPoetryMagazine.com/
when I click on Connect to Facebook and then login with my facebook id/pw it says it cannot find that account. This is the error I get:
Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.
It happens that somehow things got confused with me having two accounts on the site and one of them had the username and email the same as my facebook username/pw and so I got rid of that one, meaning I manually fixed this on the back end, or so I thought. Now, the connect with facebook isn't working for me on this site.
On my other site I have a different error:
http:// FutureWaveDesigns.com/administrator/
where I setup the same login as I had on the other site.
I'm seeing this error there in the Invite module:
Errors while loading page from application
Runtime errors:

serverfbml form action must be within the application's connect url
I think this is connecting with facebook ok.

The invite issue has been described in some other posts, and we're investigating the cause.

As for the Facebook login issue, yes, since we use your Facebook email address to create an account, if there is already a Joomla account with that email address, the account creation will fail. This is handled by Joomla, not us. If you're using the "Create New Users" feature, you have the option of linking the FB account to an existing Joomla account.

When you say, "Now, the connect with facebook isn't working for me on this site.", what do you mean? Are you getting another error? FB not mapping? Etc?

Thanks
