I have just upgraded to JS 1.8 and your extension does not seem to work anymore. Is there an update for the new version?

We've done some preliminary testing with 1.8 and haven't run into any major issues yet. What kind of problems are you experiencing? Do you have a site we can look at?

I have Problems too with Jomsocial 1.8.1 & the newest JFB Modules.

If the modul JFB Invite is published i become this error in Frontend:
Fatal error: Call to a member function set_user() on a non-object in /xxx/httpdocs/components/com_jfbconnect/helpers/facebookhelper.php on line 122

Alright, some more internal testing is turning up the issues. We're working on a temporary fix that should be available within the next few days. The ultimate solution will be JFBConnect 3.0, which will be out in July. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Just to update this, the conflicts have been resolved as of JomSocial's 1.8.2 release. Please let us know if you're still having issues. Until then, we're considering this issue closed.

Hello Alzander,

i have updated to Jomsocial 1.8.3, now no error message, but the JFB Infite Module will me not connected with my Facebook account and shows only the Text: "Please log in through Facebook to invite your friends to this site!"
What is wrong now?

can not login with the module. and another issue is : looks like there is conflict also with JS facebook login. can you confirm that?

JFBConnect should not be enabled when JomSocial's Facebook implementation is enabled. They conflict with each other. The original 1.8 issue you mentioned above was a fatal conflict, but with that fixed (in their new release), you still should not be enabling JS's Facebook integration if you want to use JFBConnect.
