Just installed the JFBC component, module and plugin a short time ago. When I tested it it logged me into facebook and then came back to the JS login page and asked if I wanted to sync with my account on my site. I put in my account name and password and clicked on "Login" and I was logged in. It told me I was logged in to facebook also and everything worked. I just went back to add some activity to my wall to see if it was being ported up to FB. But, now, when I use the facebook connect button it goes to facebook but when it comes back to my website my website tells me that I'm not logged in, that the username or password is wrong.

So, what have I done wrong. I'm really under the gun here. I had misgivings about adding a new element just before the site was set to start getting promoted. We have an interview without a local newspaper tomorrow for publicity and I've got a major element that is busted.

Also, I noticed that the old JS Facebook connect button is still showing on the JS login page but I suppose that is just because I forgot to uninstall the component.

My issue was a stupid one. Because of a newspaper promo interview today to launch our website I was pushing to get the extensions in place and running (should never do new things the day before something like this). I went through the process and logged into facebook and it worked. After it quit working I started looking around and re-reading the installation docs. I saw the part about enabling the plugins and when i checked there I found that I had not enabled them. Don't know how I got logged in that first time, but after enabling the plugins everything worked.

If you happened to install it more than once, I believe we disable the plugins to make sure installing it can't cause any log in problems. Perhaps that's what happened to you.

Either way, thanks for letting everyone know. Let us know if you need anything else. Good luck with the promo!
