Our Twitter setup is no longer working. Any click on the Twitter icon redirects user to the home page.

We created a new set of API details and also went through the AutoTune process.

We can't see any type of JFB logs that may provide some info on the issue.

Can you double-check that you've set up the twitter application correctly by following our guide ? Specifically, I would first look at the API/Secret Keys, Callback URLs and 3-legged auth and make sure they're correct

Also, can you go into the JFBConnect backend > Configuration > Advanced section and set Debug Mode to On and try again? If there's an error in the request to Twitter, it should show on the page.

Looks like we need to upgrade to an Elevated account with Twitter API.

Another question, is there a way to run AutoTune or somehow be notified when these APIs stop working in JFB?

Unfortunately, no. The Autotune API can test multiple aspects to make sure things look configured within JFBConnect correctly. However, we don't have a way to automate these test and, even then, many of our tests don't actually make calls to the APIs to test they are working.

Generally speaking though, once an API is setup and working, they rarely do break. Each social network is pretty stable as so many websites rely on their functionality. When things may break, the social networks announce the changes well ahead of time and we do everything we can to make sure an updated release is out well in advance.

I hope that helps explain,
Alex
