Hi guys,

1 - as far as I understand the "Facebook App > Settings > Basic > User data deletion" - I add an image for you - is the "old" "Products > Facebook Login > Settings > Data Deletion Requests" mentioned here: www.sourcecoast.com/jfbconnect/docs/soci...ok-application-setup
Am I right ?

2 - Please, What is the "Products > Facebook Login > Settings > Redirect URI Validator" field ?
Is it anything we should fill in ?

1. I don't see the "Facebook App > Settings > Basic > User data deletion" setting you're referring to (while navigating in the developer area and there is no screenshot attached to this thread). However, I also don't see the old Data deletion requests anywhere in the developer area either.

2. Looks like you type whatever value you want for the "Valid OAuth Redirect URIs" setting here and I assume it'll check the connection?

Hi Mel,

1 - Sorry, here you have the setting image.
I'll stay tuned...

2 -Something is not going as expected:
In my "Products > Facebook Login > Settings > Valid OAuth Redirect URIs" I have: mysite.com/index.php?option=com_jfbconne...k&provider=facebook/
If in "Products > Facebook Login > Settings > Redirect URI Validator" field I set: "mysite.com/index.php?option=com_jfbconne...r=facebook/oauth.php" and I click "Check URL" I have back an error message:
This is not a valid redirect URI for this app
You can make this URI valid by adding it to the list of valid OAuth redirect URIs above

Yes, it should be the same with the url ending in "index.php?option=com_jfbconnect&task=deleteData"

2. I don't know why you've added oauth.php here for. That's just their example. As I said, it's the value from the "Valid OAuth Redirect URIs" setting. mysite.com/index.php?option=com_jfbconne...ck&provider=facebook

Hi Mel,

1 - Thanks. Maybe ould be good to correct it into your documentation page www.sourcecoast.com/jfbconnect/docs/soci...ok-application-setup - PS ...Facebook will drive us all crazy... :D

2 - I test both:
mysite.com/index.php?option=com_jfbconne...r=facebook/oauth.php
mysite.com/index.php?option=com_jfbconne...ck&provider=facebook
I add an image for you, the result we have back from Facebook is always the same:
This is an invalid redirect URI for this application
You can make this URI valid by adding it to the list of valid OAuth redirect URIs above

Screenshot has the provider as facebookRemove. Take off the "Remove" part and then follow the instructions in that error message from Facebook to add it as a redirect URI to make it valid.
