- Waiting a response to this #37566 GitHub Joomla feature enhancement ticket github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/issues/37566
- When "JFBC Configuration > General - Login / Logout > Integrate into Joomla Login: ...(different then none)..."

The Socials buttons by default (always) should never be shown into the Joomla Regitration redirection page .../registration?layout=complete

This will be added in an upcoming release of JFBConnect.

They look to have responded. For social registrations, JFBConnect already has an option for where to redirect the user. For Joomla registrations, we will support anything Joomla implements, but there is no way to override that default behavior.

The Socials buttons by default (always) should never be shown into the Joomla Regitration redirection page .../registration?layout=complete

If a user registers with Joomla, they may want to then connect to one of their social accounts on that Confirmation page. We'll have to investigate our intentions on that page and determine the best way to show/hide the login buttons if desired.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,
given that github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/issues/37566 seems to have been accepted for 4.2 release (not for Joomla 3.10.x) and this will indirectly offer a solution for the issue.

"...If a user registers with Joomla, they may want to then connect to one of their social accounts on that Confirmation page..."
I'm not agree, because that Social buttons are appearingo on the Joomla Regitration redirection page .../registration?layout=complete with the "Register With" Language String.
So, I still believe that the simplest solution is stil to have the Socials buttons by default (always) hidden into the Joomla Regitration redirection page .../registration?layout=complete

We'll investigate further and decide what changes are needed.

In the meantime, I'd recommend using CSS to hide those social buttons on the layout=complete page if you do not want them to show there.

Thanks,
Alex
