I'm sorry to hear you're running into issues with the latest version of JFBConnect. Can you please describe more details about the issue you're having? We'll gladly help investigate and solve whatever problems you're running into.

We have not heard from any users about sites becoming unavailable, so it's difficult to understand the issue you're having. Please let us know:
* Are you seeing any error messages? If so, what are they?
** You may need to set Error Reporting in the Joomla Configuration area to "Maximum" to see error messages that will help us actually diagnose the problem.

* Does the issue happen when you enable all the social network plugins you noted above (LinkedIn, Twitter and Google) or does it happen for each individual plugin?

* Do any social network plugins work without causing issues on the site, like Facebook?

Thanks your patience and feedback,
Alex

Hello, thanks for the response.

No errors after update, when clicking the autotune then problems started, i.e., website just started to render a white screen and no SSL connection is available.

Does the issue happen when you enable all the social network plugins you noted above (LinkedIn, Twitter and Google) or does it happen for each individual plugin?
R: It happens with LinkedIn, Twitter or Google, altogether or individually.
Facebook works OK.

Do any social network plugins work without causing issues on the site, like Facebook?
R: No. We only have yours active.

Also, if interested, the older JFBConnect v8 release is still available in the downloads area.

We definitely want to understand the difficulty you're running into with v9, but if you need to get functionality back up and running right away, we're recommend installing the earlier release.

If you downgrade, please uninstall the social network plugins in the jfbconnect plugin group. The older release should re-install them, but a newer v9 social network plugin with the older JFBConnect v8 may cause additional problems.

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks for your quick reply. If you're seeing a blank white screen, that usually indicates a PHP error. If you set Error Reporting to "Maximum", that white screen should show the error message that is preventing the site from rendering.

Please turn on error reporting, briefly, and let us know the error message you see.

Thanks,
Alex

No go, that's not an option as it's a live website and we're not testers.

As mentioned, this does not need to be turned on for long. I'd recommend:
* Set Error Reporting to 'Maximum'
* Enable any plugins that cause problems
* Refresh the page
* Copy the error message
* Disable the plugins
* Set Error Reporting to "None"
That could take less than 2 minutes.

If that's not possible, we'll need some other way to understand the error. In that case, please contact your hosting provider for PHP logs which should have the error message. Alternatively, if there is a development site available, you should be able to perform the above steps on it to get the error messages.

Without the error messages though, there's simply no way for us to know what is happening.

Thanks,
Alex

Thank you for the error message. That's not one we've seen before, but are investigating.

Can you confirm the versions of Joomla and JFBConnect that you're using?
Joomla 3.9.25
JFBConnect v9.0.150

From a quick test with those versions, we've been unable to recreate, but are continuing to test.

Thanks,
Alex
