Hi,

I have installed JFBConnect extension in my site and configured it. Now I have created a login module(mod_jfbclogin ) and published it. This module is displaying in my site. But when I click on it, nothing is happening. I have given the correct parameters and it is fetching the correct details in component's overview section. I have checked it in many browsers and many OS . But still it is not working. All the JFB plugins are activated. It will be helpful if someone let me know what is the issue. Please check my site at

I have checked after logging in and it is showing 'Connect' button. It is also not showing anything on click. I have tried the demo in your site and it is working perfectly for me. So I think it is not the issue with my browsers.

Please note that I am using a Gantry Framework template from Rockettheme. I have also checked the mootools inclusion and it is working well.

**NB: Please note that I have almot fixed it by myself. The issue seems to be related with loading of all.js. It was loading twice. I think one is for the Like button and other is for login module. Now I have unpublished the Like and it is almost fixed. But not stable . It is loading the pop-up when clicking on Login with Facebook only at times . Otherwise all.js is loaded twice and pop-up is not shown. It will be helpful if someone can reply ASAP as it is an urgent work. :)

Alwin,
We'd be glad to help you investigate but need a little more information. What version of JFBConnect are you using? Is your Facebook application account brand new? Sometimes, there's some flakiness for the first 24 hours of a new application.

Finally, can you please post from the account you subscribed from? Priority support is for subscribers only.

Thanks!
Alex

Thanks for the reply.

I am using Version: 3.2.2 and my application is not that much new. Actually I have a Facebook Like box is on the home page . Is that the cause of the issue...? Whenever I click on the 'Login with Facebook' button, it is showing 'FB.login() called before calling FB.init().' in the Firebug console. Also please note that I am posting for one of my cients and I will ask him to give the access.

Alwin,
Yes, the Like-box looks to be the issue. It's including the Facebook Javascript API in addition to JFBConnect loading this same library. It's also loading the en_US version, whereas JFBConnect is loading the en_GB version, which is your Joomla's user setting. This double loading is confusing Facebook and also causing an additional load on your page by loading and executing the library twice.

You should be able to fix the problem by either:
1) Simply removing the secondary call to the en_US version of all.js (leaving the like-box how it is)
2) Disabling the Like-box your using now and using JFBConnect's JFBCFan (like-box) module.

Hope that helps, and good luck,
Alex

Great to hear, Alwin. Glad we got you going, and let us know if you need anything else. If you plan more posts, we'd appreciate it if you could have the subscriber post here once. Then, we can add his subscription to your account too, to make things easier.

Finally, please consider leaving a rating and review for JFBConnect on the Joomla Extension Directory. It's certainly not required, but very appreciated:

Thanks, and good luck!
