I removed 2.6.2 and the plugins and login module, installed the 3.0rc1 without problem. I published the module and plugins, checked the plugin order to make sure the Joomla user plugin fires before any tothers. The problem and BIG problem is my users cannot login to the site even using another login form. Using FB connect a small window pops up and goes away and the the main paid that's presented it just blank/white. Using the normal login module the page presented it just blank. I even removed the plugins and reinstalled the separate plugins just in case of an installer error but still noting. Any thoughts????

OK so it's definitely login module related. When the FB login module is enabled there's no loging in whatsoever. As soon as it's disabled the users can use the normal (jomsocial) login. I've enabled and disabled every option in the module one at a time and tested with no luck. I'll keep trying but if you have any suggestions I'm open to try. Thanks

Did you do a template override for the JFBCLogin? If so, you'll need to update/modify that to conform to the new JFBCLogin template as some parameters and calls in the template have changed. If you don't know what I'm talking about, look for the following file:
/templates/YOUR_TEMPATE/html/mod_jfbclogin/default.php

If it's there, try to temporarily rename it to default.old or something. See if things work. The module may look different than you want it too.. which is why you'll need to merge it with the /modules/mod_jfbclogin/tmpl/default.php.

If this doesn't work, let us know your web site address so we can take a peek.

No overrides for the module, although I do have a few others, but again nothing on the login modules. I know the FB login system is somewhat working becuase it's updated my status on Facebook every time I try to login. I've temporarily disabled that feature, you shouldn't seen that list! ;-) I'll PM you with access if you'd like to take a peek. Thanks

Looks like you went back to 2.6.2. Sorry for the troubles. We'll be releasing more updates to 3.0 shortly, and hopefully we can get a fix in there for your issue soon, though I can't say we know what the problem is.

No problem, it's not the end of the world for me; although it would be nice to have the new features and API. Thanks for taking a look.

When you look into upgrading again, feel free to let us know ahead of time so we can try to be prepared to fix anything that occurs. If you have a development/backup site to test on, that's even better. Nice to be able to make changes on something that's not 'live'.

I had what seems to besomehwat similar experience with RC2 in case helpful as a bug report. After following install steps to upgrade, the overview page of the configuration backend screen was blank. I could get to the other component backend screens but not the overview.

After enabling everything and ensuring setup, nothing would happen when I clicked the Login with Facebook button. I uninstalled and reinstalled/enabled but same effect. I could login to my site without any problme (even through the jfblogin module), but not through facebook as the button did not respond when clicked--just thorugh CB login. I had to rollback to prior version for now. Jeff

A blank white screen is almost always the sign of a PHP Fatal Error. If you install again, can you go Site->Global Configuration and on the Server Tab change Error Reporting to "Maximum". Then hit the offending page and report any error output here. When done, turn error reporting off.

Obviously, something's funky, and we really like the updates on the issue your providing, but we don't know how to recreate the problem right now.
