To fix it being 'under' your template, you'd need to try and fix the z-index's within the CSS for the Invite module or the other modules that it's overlapping. Unfortunately, it looks like you have other Javascript modules (Google Maps, etc) that are very hard to make work in an overlapping environment.

We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused, and we definitely wish Facebook implemented their Invitation module much better. We have work arounds for the resizing and issues they've implemented, but it's not 100% as you've seen. If you'd like us to help you fix the z-indexing, we can do that as well, but it may require ensuring that other Javascript modules aren't able to overlap with the Invite module.

If you'd prefer a refund, please let us know. Normally, we only perform refunds within 30-days of purchase due to limitations on the payment processor's refund abilities. You're at 32 days, but we can get one through if you'd prefer not to use JFBConnect. Just let us know.

Thanks,
Alex

Alzander it is by far the best product for facebook, and I am happy with rest of the plugins, your solution is the solution if you want facebook on your website. I think what you should do with the invite module is to make it so it will fit as a full sixe top or bottom module with user adjustment.

Alzander, the solution is simble, you make the module with a forth with of 940px and it will work without any template changes and right out of the box as a top or bottom module, let me know.............

Iveth,
We can help you force the width if you want to. We won't force it to that width though for everyone, because there are users who are using it as it is right now in sidebars and other areas where it has to resize to the content.

If you want to force it yourself (to any width), simply edit (or create a template override) for /modules/mod_jfbcinvite/tmpl/default.php. At line 42, you'll see a div with a width parameter specified as "$closedWidth". Simply remove the PHP variable there, and set it to "940px" or whatever size you'd like to use.

Hopefully this will work for you, cause we'd really like to see you happy with the module. If you need more assistance, definitely let us know. If there's a generic solution we can implement in the JFBCInvite module so it works for everyone, trust me, we're all for it. There are some updates that Facebook has released lately that we're investigating for multi-friend selectors (which is what the Invite module uses), but from initial testing, it doesn't fix all the issues we've seen.

Thanks again for your feedback and patience, and good luck!

Iveth,
Since that content is loaded through an iFrame, there's no way to add styles to your page and have it 'take' in the iFrame. That's for security reasons within the browser to prevent a website owner from 'faking' content in a separate site.

Facebook is starting to add methods to some of their widgets that allow us to include CSS specific to their iFrame, but they haven't done that for the Invite module yet. We'd absolutely love it if they did, and again, the Invite module is the worst of their available modules... yet the one wanted by the most people.. so we're always looking into alternative methods of implementation. If we find something, we'll definitely make sure everyone knows about it.

Hope your happy with the solution you've found, it's looking good!
