Hello Alex, I have a problem that even made me uninstall the login module site, the problem is the following, in the previous version,

I had a problem of conflict between jquery banner on my site, and the jquery modal sclogin

, I disabled the jquery sclogin and everything worked normally, but apparently

this new version

if I do, my screen setup is like that you saw earlier, all messed up, so I do not know what to do so I may have the login working with modal detail than the previous version this happened only if I

put the login mode as modal

, mode button always visible there was this problem, now if I

just install sclogin my banner disappears

, and he is the most important detail of my site.

I found the file that generated conflict, is jquery-1.8.3.min.js

I pretty much met a similar problem. I had previous topic -- Jquery and bootstrap conflict. pls have a look it too.
I had that issue in 3.0 version. I disabled Load Jqeury and rename modal in bootstrap js to avoid modal naming conflict. then it would not conflict with my site template which uses Jqeury too. (same as your banner). However after I updated to 3.1, the same issue happened again. this time, no matter what I did, no way to solve it.
It only happened when modal popup was selected.

I am still waiting for Alex reply in another question. I now gave up the pop up. I just wanted alex to help to set up log out -show user menu issue.
If you finally solve this modal popup conflict issue, I would be keen to know how.
By the way, as I know BOotstrap can be set off if your site has already loads the bootstrap somewhere. no need to load bootstrap twice. However, if I disable bootstrap in SClogin, it will not pop up the modal and its show the login in a strange location on home page. my site is Joomla 2.5.
I suspect Alex may not use a right jqeury / bootstrop js files / versions.

Thank you to let me know about your problem fei, I think the same as you about load jquery, bootstrap and JS, because changing just a file that I mention above and everything works fine, just because one file everything not load properly, if you solve let me know and I do the same, ok!!!

Sorry my terrible english.

Eduardo,
We made a lot of changes to the SCLogin module in the 3.1 release to enhance compatibility with a lot of other extensions and templates. There are still some issues we're working through, and we definitely would like to look into the issues you're having more.

For your site, when you install the SCLogin module, it sounds like you should disable the "Load jQuery" setting in our options. You may also want to disable the "Load Bootstrap" setting, though it doesn't sound like that is the setting that is causing you issues.

If you can enable the SCLogin module on a specific page of your site and configure it how you want it to work, we'll gladly investigate what may be conflicting and causing your banners or other features to work. Just let me know when you have it setup and we'll look into it ASAP.

Fei,
We are looking into your other issue and I should be responding to that shortly. We have no problem supporting all of our extensions, but we prioritize support to those users that have an active paid subscription to our social networking extensions. We do get to all questions eventually, but it can take some time. I'm sure you understand the reasoning behind how we prioritize things.

After I help with the other question, if you're still having issues with the modal and want to get it to work again, feel free to create another topic. The 3.1 release added some new features, but mainly, it fixed a bunch of outstanding issues. We don't plan another feature release for another few months, but may have a 3.1.2 or more 3.1.x releases to continue enhancing compatibility.

Documentation is definitely coming as well, it's just taken a bit longer than we wanted it to due to the bigger release of JFBConnect.

Thanks for your patience,
Alex

This is the post that fei is referencing above with great feedback on what worked on that site.

If you still need any more help though, let us know. Template conflicts (and a few minor extension conflicts) are our main area of focus for the next few bug-fix releases of SCLogin. I can't guarantee everything will be fixed in the next release, but hopefully should go smoother.

Thanks,
Alex
