Hello,
I want my users session to never expire when they log-in. I received a tip on the Joomla forum (forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=706&t=9...1&p=3553174#p3553174, at the bottom) on how to hack the Joomla login module in order to make the remember me checkbox being checked by default and hiding it too.
I wonder if a similar hack can be done also on the SClogin module, I guess yes, but the real question is. By doing an hack like this, users that login through their social profiles (eg. through the "login with fb button") will remain logged in until they logout or their sessions will expire?

Oh well... I see that in the module settings there is already an option for "hide checked" for the remember me checkbox. That's great :)

The remember me checkbox only applies to Joomla logins, not to logins with social network credentials.

The social networks will expire the API sessions automatically, which we have no control over. With Facebook, we do have an option to automatically log you back into your Joomla site with FB credentials if the user is still logged into Facebook. You can turn this on in JFBConnect backend > Configuration > Facebook tab > "Auto Login Facebook Users" option. At the least you can enable this setting to help keep the user logged in via FB.
