I am a newbie- How can I have my login module setup to re direct to individual user pages on login. Can someone help me on this. I have a menu item tab named advisors. individuals clicking this tab will be taken to the ScLogin module page. Once they login using their credentials, I want them to be re directed to their own individual pages

Please let me know how to create the credential and setup the login module.

Thank you

You should be able to set any menu item you already have for the user's profile in the SCLogin module parameters for Login Redirection.

If you're having issues doing that, please let us know what you've tried, what extension you're using for profiles and example URL (you can remove the domain) that you'd want to redirect the user too.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,
Thank you for your reply, Here is how I want to setup the module, please guide me.
Multiple users accessing individualized pages using one login module as the common gateway.

I just started building the site. I have a main menu item (Advisors) This menu is set to open up Sc Login. My issue is; once the user puts in his/her credentials to login, I want the login form to re direct to the individuals' specific page. How do I do that? Since there is only one field in the Sc login back end, where I can specify only one page as login redirection page per SCLogin module .

Example: Lets assume we have 5 Advisor's namely Alex, Mike, Jim, Roy and Norm

If Alex logs in, I only want Alex to see his specific page, not that of others.
www. enrichgroup.ca >> Advisors >> Advisor Access (This is the name given to the module) At this point when Alex logs in, He should be redirected to his own data page. This is how I want to setup the SCLogin Module.
Thank you.

It really depends on how you're building those advisor pages out.

Many extensions will have a generic 'my profile' link. joomla has it's own and you can see it on this site at:
www.sourcecoast.com/view-your-user-details/

That 'view-your-user-details' URL is simply the SEF URL for the Joomla User Details menu item. It's a generic page that you could redirect to, but it's the unique information for the user viewing the page.

If your advisor pages work the same way, then you should just be able to point the users to the main advisor profile landing page or what have you. If each advisor page has it's own unique URL and there's no way to use a generic URL, then unfortunately, that's not something the SCLogin supports at this time.

I hope that helps explain,
Alex
